Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
First, a little turkey talk.  We saw many turkeys while traveling in Mexico, but this one near Tapijalapa in Veracruz took the cake.  Big and fat, he glided across the ground like he was on rollers, wobbling from side to side, bellowing a hearty gobble, gobble.  The colors on his face were amazingly vibrant.  He was fascinating.
Now some reflection.  It's been exactly one year since Eduardo and I embarked on our journey to Mexico, commemorating my leap of faith from office worker to full time artist, an adventure that would cover a total of four months.  Instead of turkey, we spent last Thanksgiving eating fish tacos in Ensenada, marking the beginning of this new chapter in my life.
This Thanksgiving, I am very thankful for that wonderful experience, and thankful to have such a loving and supportive partner that always encourages me to stretch to my limits.  I am also thankful for my two great kids and the chance to spend the holiday with them this year, along with loving friends, and for the turkey in my future tomorrow.  And lastly I am thankful for the opportunity to be on this artistic road, sharing my journey with you!
Life is not always easy, and I know this feeling can be amplified during the holidays.  My wish for you this Thanksgiving is that you, too, discover all you have to be thankful for, and find the strength and courage to continue to move closer to your dreams.  I wish you joy and peace.  Thank you for your love and support all year.

Have a most happy and blessed holiday.

Love,
Linda
